SEO guide for non-technical people: how search engines work and what to do about it
How search engines work, what you can control without knowing how to code, and where not to spend time or money. Based on Google and Bing official documentation.
We guide you through user research and SEO strategy: two specialists working together to help your customers find you and convert.
We're not an agency with layers in between. In every project, you work with the two people who execute it.
Senior UX Researcher
Psychologist by training, with over seven years in UX Research including senior in-house roles. She leads the research: interviews, analysis, and translating findings into product decisions.
SEO & engineeringSoftware Engineer · International SEO
Software engineer specialized in organic growth and international SEO. He handles the positioning strategy and technical implementation.
Users abandoned carts at the final step. Psychology-led research revealed the issue wasn't visual design: it was their mental model of security.
View All Case StudiesI had the privilege of working with Paulina at Mudango in 2024. Her role as UX Researcher was key: she led client interviews, mapped user journeys, and analyzed needs with rigor and clarity. The deliverable was impeccable and strategic for identifying our key clients.
Scoping call.
You speak with both people on the team to discuss what you need and whether there's a fit between your goal and what we can contribute. If there isn't, we'll tell you.
Proposal within 2–3 business days.
If there's a fit, we send a quote with the work process, methodology, timeline, and price. The price depends on the complexity of the goal, not the size of your company.
Access and kickoff.
Once the proposal is approved, we coordinate whatever access the project needs: analytics, Search Console, recordings, internal data. Then we start.
Fixed-scope project.
A defined goal, over a timeline of weeks to two or three months. For specific questions: why a screen isn't converting, how your users behave in a flow, what's holding back your organic traffic.
Monthly retainer.
We work embedded with your team, by objectives, with dedicated hours each month. Technical and content SEO monitoring, content aligned to the business, flow and metrics review, and improvement proposals. With a research lens, an SEO lens, or both at once.
We work best when there's real conversation
The first call isn't just to quote: it's to see if we're a good fit. We work best with teams that are open to evidence sometimes contradicting what they expected; that's where research really adds value. If you already know exactly what you want and are just looking for someone to execute it, we're probably not the right team, and we'll say so plainly in the first conversation.
It depends on the goal, and we put it in writing in the proposal before starting. Across all projects, two things are constant: the evidence stays organized and accessible, and you receive a presentation with the actionable conclusions from all the work, ready to take to whoever requested it.
Practical resources for your research work.
No. Everything we produce stays yours: the files, the evidence, the credentials, and ownership of every platform in the name of whoever it belongs to. Once the project is done, your team can continue on its own with everything organized in a Drive. If you prefer we keep supporting you, there's the retainer — but that's a choice, not a lock-in.
With two people, from the start: Paulina on user research and Mauricio on SEO and engineering. We're not an agency that assigns you someone you've never met; you work directly with the people doing the work.
We work with companies of different sizes. What defines a project isn't how big you are, but how clear your goal is. If you know what you want to solve, there's a way to work on it. And if you're not yet sure, the first call is exactly for that.
Paulina advised us comprehensively throughout the entire process, from an in-depth analysis of our current situation to a concrete improvement proposal. What we especially appreciated was that she considered both the business objectives and the real user experience. Her follow-up was essential to validate and refine the details before implementation. Working with UXR was definitely a great contribution to our company.

A single ChatGPT query isn't enough to know if your brand appears in AI responses. Learn the right method: repeated sampling, Wilson intervals, and measurement cadence.

Resources, critical voices, and open questions from practice, not from hype. Months of reading, attending talks, downloading guides, and testing tools on real projects.
Whether you want to train your team or hire a consultancy, the first step is a conversation to see if we're a good fit.
